Expected Behavior

when i read a (or multiple stacked up messages) notification in whatsapp, the notification should go down to how many are left

Actual Behavior

if i open a chat with 5 messages to read, the notification number only goes down by one, leaving it at 4 with no notifications left to read

Steps to reproduce

1. go onto whatsapp
2. get sent more than one message in a single chat
3. see the notification number is at correct value
4. read notifications and it goes down by only one
