How to get a many-to-many association through a joins table?

Referencing how this example is set up, I'd like to be able to call user.groups on a returned db user query object, or group.users on a returned db group query. I've not been able to figure this out. When I query with: I only have usersToGroups available which just gives me an array of userId and groupId.

You can do:

  with: {
    userToGroups: {
      with: {
        groups: true
      }

Ah, thank you thank you. That makes sense. Is there a way to get it to not include the group key for every group returned? I'd like a flat array of objects but I get [{ group: {id: 1}}, group: {id:2}}] or do I have to map the results to coerce it into the format I want?
