I would like to sort the list of keyboards by its price so that I can pick the cheapest pre-made ones... and remove the DIY ones from the list.

This repo is pretty much with 90% DIY. And it's representative of the custom mech keyboards "ecosystem".

There is no real point into buying a pre-made one because it's pretty much personnal and depending of the end user.

If you're looking for prices or an already made one, you're not really in the good place.
Ofc, you can take the Ergodoz Ez (pretty much the one in this list) and add some keycaps and tada. 🎊
Or make a commission and ask somebody to build one for you (the guy for the Kyria takes that kind of commission for a decent price).

But adding that kind of variable is too much of a hassle to maintain (because the price is really dependent of which components you will put into it, at best you could have something like a range of...let's say 200~700$, what's the point ? 🤷🏻‍♂️). Add to that the fact that things are not available sometimes too and that people have pretty much something else to do that updating the stuff here every week. 😁

Simply find one that you find pretty/ergo to your taste and dig into the various links to see if you can get a decent price. This repo is more for that kind of usage: inspiration.

PS: the pre-made ones are not the cheapest.

@kissu since kits are cheaper than pre-made, is it possible to add a ratings on how easy it is to build keyboards? I really hate soldering things together, snap-fit key switches seems to be a better option. If I can have a calculator detailing all the options for a particular standard e.g. ErgoDox it would be even sweeter.

But then again updates are going to be an issue... I guess that is why pull requests are a thing.

Might be nice to just have a single table (merged with "More split keyboards" table) and add a "Premade" column

Then you can use a Chrome extension to sort the column to only those, and check each one out individually for how much : https://stackoverflow.com/a/42845732/1305736
