I'm having an issue where a query that was very quick during development (500ms) is now taking almost 20 seconds to execute in production. Interestingly it takes just about the same time even if I omit the UNION to get the prior periods results. (Usually 1 second faster)
I assumed that since the query plan was using Hash Join it would be fast. When testing during development I had about 1.8 M rows, in production just now we're at 5.7 M rows and queries have come to a crawl.
SQL:
SQL Plan:
Table sizes:
af_dev.pageview: 5.7 M rows, 1 GB
af_dev.user_session: 35,000 rows, 16 MB
Crate version: 5.1.2
Same query lag occurs on a single node cluster as well as a 3 node cluster
Table schema:
af_dev.pageview:
af_dev.user_session:
