What to look for while looking for new car (and few other questions)

1. I read - check if car has CAN BUS.
   Is that the only thing needed to support openpilot ? And do I generally ask this info to dealer (I didn't see if info is available online).
   2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid radar - needs new parser #23611 - seems to point at some decoding needed

2. Also what map provider does openpilot use? Does it work offline?
