Hi,

On the w3.org site, there are accessibility standards that recommend:

  • Put the combobox role on the input[type="text"].
  • Put aria-expanded on the input[type="text"].
  • Put aria-controls on the input[type="text"].
  • Put the role listbox on the <ul>
  • Put an id on the <ul>
