Use the List

  1. like Excel on a website (URL might change so make sure to star this repo)!

  4. add to Trello (use the website/CSV file and follow this)

  • Support most of the basic Excel functionalities such as filtering (downloading and importing are yet to be tested)

  • We am considering buying a domain if enough people are interested in this project (for now we will just look at the number of stars and/or pull requests for this repo)

General

  • Difference between this and other platforms
    • Not everyone has access to Handshake
    • You can download all the data from this repo as a CSV file and use Excel to keep track of them
    • The repo is community maintained and crowdsourced, offering many advantages. For instance, someone contacted me about how bad/shady one of the companies is, and the community can respond faithfully

Column Explanations

Name

The link generally should point to the websites about the positions

Role

All positions are software engineering roles, unless otherwise specified in the Notes column. Similarly, all positions are open to anyone enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, unless specific graduation years are mentioned in the Notes column

Positions are abbreviated as follows:

  1. SDE: Software Engineer
  2. FE: Front End
  3. BE: Back End
  4. Tech Intern: Technical/Technology Internship
  5. Dev: Developer

Location

Two-letter locations indicate states in the U.S.

U.S. indicates multiple locations in the U.S.

countries other than the U.S. are spelled out. (Ex: CA = California, not Canada)
