Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...]

Hello author, I am currently planning to carry out my doctoral project, my project is around the oscillating hydrofoil, I very much want to seek a mature open source code base to assist in the simulation work, can SAM this open source code complete the related work?

Describe the solution you'd like

If this code satisfies my needs, I would like to use this code to get the relevant power output of the oscillating wing tidal energy device.

A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.

Describe alternatives you've considered

A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.

If the code still lacks relevant functionality, can the author develop it?

Additional context

Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.
Since this is my PhD research direction, I am eager to hear from you!thanks a lot!

Hi there! We welcome code contributions. SAM's marine energy models currently use a power matrix, rather than performing detailed modeling of the device. An overview of SAM's marine capabilities can be found here: https://sam.nrel.gov/marine-energy.html . Are you proposing to add a detailed model, or hoping to find one that exists?
