I also get the same error on the same version of OSX. When trying to launch it from the terminal this is what I get:

Sorry, the minimum supported MacOS version is 11. This is not a bug, it's just the way Apple nudges people into upgrading.

Then the minimum required version listed on the download page should be updated, since it lists 10.11.4 as the minimum version.
