Low performance on Ubuntu/Debian based systems (At least on the Flathub release)

Describe the bug

When i have at least 2 or more windows opened i start to experience lag not only on the program, but also on my entire PC. This is really getting me irritated.

OS/Hardware

• Operative System: GNU/Linux (Kubuntu, also used Libresprite with Linux Mint)
• CPU: Intel i5

I'm not sure if the Flathub release is working correctly, so could you try the Appimages to see if the bug still happens? https://github.com/LibreSprite/LibreSprite/releases/latest

Please let us know if it works.

The appimage is the latest release with better performance, the flathub version is an old one that needs to be updated
