I want to modify requested js from webpage and it seem to be possible via manifest v2 by using webRequestBlocking and onBeforeRequest.
but after manifest v3 the docs said I have to migrate to declarativeNetRequest and rule.json which
provide only static redirect by fixed rules without modification response content capabilities.
So the question is in manifest v3 how can I intercept js + modified it then let the webpage consume modified one (dynamically)?
Thanks

Hi @katopz, did you have an approach that was working in Manifest V2? Using the webRequest API and the blocking option you can cancel requests but you aren't able to modify the response body.
One option you could look at is using Declarative Net Request to redirect the request to an extension page.
I'm going to close this since this is the issue tracker for our samples repository, but feel free to ask any follow up questions in the mailing list.
