Security tab shows "1 unread", but clicking it does not reveal anything to read

As the title says and shown in the screenshot below - it's poor user experience for the Security tab to have an indicator on it saying that there is something on that tab needing attention, but then have nothing listed on the page displayed when clicking the Security tab, nor on any of the sub-pages on that tab.

Note that after some minutes, the indicator on the Security tab went away. There appears to be some kind of caching issue where notifications about security vulnerabilities go away inside the tab after a PR is merged, but take several minutes to disappear from the notification count.
