The Nextcloud Instance which I am managing has lots of different user groups with different permissions regarding the files and folders that each group can open and modify.

The folder structure of my instance is like a tree, the "trunk" is the first folders you find in the Files tab, where practically everyone has access to all folders. As you separate in branches and go deeper in the folder structure, less and less people have view and edit permissions.

The issue occurring here is the following: Imagine User_1 and User_2; User_1 has only permissions to open and edit files in Folder_1 while User_2 has access to Folder_1 and its subfolder, Folder_2. Right now, as permissions through files_accesscontrol work, User_1 can open and edit all the files inside Folder_1, and can see that Folder_2 exists inside Folder_1, even though there is a tag on the right side that says "Accessible to Group x only" and their access to it is forbidden. This can lead User_1 to assume there's an issue with Nextcloud, as it's not immediately apparent that they lack access to this folder.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like the option to hide this unaccessible folders and files for users not in the allowed groups, in order to avoid people "looking where they shouldn't" (within file titles and the date of last modification) and even decluttering some quite busy folders.

Describe alternatives you've considered
A possible alternative would be to make the unaccessible files and folders a little bit transparent or greyed out, to signify clearly that the file is not accessible, since right now may not be very obvious.

Isn't files access controls about files itself instead of folders? Reading your issue, it seems groupfolders could be a solution.
