What happens when the bug or crash occurs?

Using both PlainFolderIcon and BetterFolders (with Keep Icons on) makes it difficult to see which folder is open due to BetterFolders also using a plain folder icon to indicate which folder is open. Because of Keep Icons, it results in the folder color not changing since it expects you have icons. Without Keep Icons, it causes a really messy animation which is undesirable.

What is the expected behaviour?

With both enabled, Keep Icons should do nothing, and BetterFolders shouldn't try to animate the server icons.

How do you recreate this bug or crash?

1. Enable both PlainFolderIcon and BetterFolders
2. Enable Keep Icons in BetterFolders configuration
3. Open a folder
